Body Factor: J Cole throws punches for Rolling Out
That Out Factor 26 Sep 2011, 3:03 pm CEST
J. Cole talks about the pressure to perform, his
anticipated debut “Cole World: The Sideline Story”
and more in the just revealed cover of Rolling
Out. We’re not mad at him throwing punches (pictured)
either…
“This album speaks to the type of artist I want to be. I think the album will provide thought provoking lyrics, and heartfelt stories. I want to take listeners on a ride. It shows the type of balance that I want to have as an artist,” Cole tells Rolling Out. “I want to be at the top of the list when it comes to rap. I want the respect of the hip-hop fans and connoisseurs. I want to be on everybody’s list.”
“Cole World: The Sideline Story” is in store Tuesday, September 27!
Say Factor: Lady Gaga to release free, third album ?
That Out Factor 26 Sep 2011, 2:52 pm CEST
The words free and Lady Gaga don’t quite make
sense, unless you’re referring to “Born This Way,” but, her manager
Troy Carter believes the next album, her third, could be a
giveaway to fans! Why ? Because he wants the music to reach as
many as possible…
“If it was up to me, I’d give away the next album,” Carter said at the F8 conference over the weekend. “Put it on every handset that I can put it on.”
Does that make sense ? Yes, if you consider the huge success of “Born This Way” when it went for .99cents on Amazon.com in May.
Free or not, Gaga is working on the third album but it is unclear, at this point, when we’ll hear more about it…

Russell Simmons to create truly ‘diverse, intergrated’ television network ?
That Out Factor 21 Sep 2011, 6:06 am CEST
With names attached to his resume like Def Jam, Phat Farm and even
the Rush Card, noted entreprenuer Russell Simmons
now has his eye set on
buying or creating a television network that will address the
“segregation” in Hollywood.
Discussing his idea Tuesday, Simmons says he, like many, is tired of seeing less diversity and more segregation, as in creating a show that addresses one demographic here and there.
“Networks are a little slow in how mainstream culture is shifting. There’s a lack of integration in Hollywood, and I want to address that,” Simmons told WSJ.
According to Simmons, when mainstream networks “say diversity, they mean segregation… Let’s do some more black TV. Instead, there’s all these cultures that should be more integrated properly.”
Could we see the new network sooner rather than later ? According to Simmons, the answer is yes.
“Now you’ve heard about it. It’s going to happen,” he says.
Hopefully Mr. Simmons will accomplish this goal… We don’t need another segregated television network.

Metta World Peace, aka Ron Artest: Who’s Coming With Me ?
That Out Factor 21 Sep 2011, 5:12 am CEST
Metta World Peace, aka Ron
Artest, joyful as he could be, was voted off Dancing With The
Stars Tuesday. Not at all disappointed in his performance, sans
photo above, ‘Peace” said “who’s coming with me?” after the results
were revealed.
“All I want to know who is coming with me,” Artest said Tuesday, following his failed performance of the Cha, Cha, Cha. “Peta was great. She was awesome.”
Shockingly, Metta World Peace had little to say about what his plans were after the show. ‘Dancing’ host Begeron summed up the night calling his exit one of the most “gracious” ever.
“One of the most gracious goodbyes…”
Dancing With The Stars returns Monday at 8pm on ABC.
